« The furnishings in the room were spartan. There was very little desk space to accomplish any work. I noticed several ants crawling around on the bathroom floor. I passed on the meager continental breakfast (a choice of raisin bran or fruit loops cereal and bagged bagels). I expected better and will not consider staying there again. »

« Simple hotel. Very plain, basic decor, but after staying at several other properties on this trip that were in this price range, and reflecting... this hotel stands out. Very clean, well maintained, and quiet. My only gripe is they need curtains badly on the secondary windows, it was difficult to sleep in past 6am. Would stay here again, absolutely. »

« It was super quiet with horses grazing in the field right by our place. They even came over to be petted. Nice outdoor space. Cute rustic feel. It was handy to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, Custer and Hermosa. Beautiful area. »

« The property is located in the country with horses coming to the fence to greet you. The cabin is decorated very nicely and fits very well with the country location. Everything we needed was provided in regards to kitchen items,dishes,towels, shampoo, conditioner,body wash... The location was ideal for our trip to Custer State Park and Keystone area.Everything was exceptional. »

« It took a couple days to adjust to the change in view from our favorite spot on the back porch, not to mention the sounds of construction on Christmas Eve as the monstrosity of a home being built against the mesa continued. Our favorite spot at the Getaway is now much different as the peaceful seclusion we once experienced is now property tainted by money. »

« It really is glamping - it has nothing to do with camping as you know it. I would describe it as a cabin without water and bathroom (though they are close by). Very spacious, beautiful surroundings, nice hosts, has everything you need. Close to all major attractions. Really enjoyed my 3-nights stay! »
